Perambra Police Station

The Station was opened on 10.05.1948 as per GO (MS) No. 1746/1948. Formerly it was an outpost of Payyoli Police Station and it was upgrade to a Police Station as per the GO mentioned above. Sub Inspector of the Police station was designated as per the GO(MS) 1746 dated 08.05.1948 of Govt. of Madras. Perambra Police Station is housed in a Government Building in Menahniam Village near Perambra Town- north side of Perambra Court road, about 300 metre North West from Perambra Bus Stand. The new Police Station building was opened vide GO(Rt)No. 1939/2000 Home dt. 17.05.2000. Old Police Station building is now working as Traffic Unit
