Kerala State Muslim Orphanage Co Ordination Committy

It is a voluntary organization consortium by the Muslim Orphanages' in Kerala during the year 1983 for welfare of orphans and their rehabilitation. Since its formation, it has been organizing a wide variety of programmes to promote innate talents of orphans, to instill confidence in them to face the new challenges and to offer timely guidance and support for their higher education and rehabilitation. Workshops and seminars with the aim of strengthening the administrative skills of the staff and management also are periodically conducted. It draws the attention of the authorities to the issues in project of rehabilitation, a Teacher Training Institute - Muslim Orphanages' Teacher Training Institute - is being run by the committee at Cheruvatta, Near Moozhikkal of Kozhikode District. The organization also was able to receive funds from IIRO for welfare of the orphans and destitute among the member orphanages.
