Himayathul Islam HSS

When the Himayatul Islam Higher Secondary School was established in 1912 with the aim of bringing modern education to the Muslim community, the first Muslim educational institution in Kerala was born. Since then, this educational institution has always walked hand in hand with the citizens of Kozhikode preparing them for successful careers and cradling them in times of crisis. Placed in the midst of copra yards on the bustling Silk Street, the aroma of the spice trade mingled beautifully with the shrill screams of children .The business community around the school has hitherto nurtured and guarded the school as their treasured gem.
