Government Old Age Home

Government Old Age Home is located at Vellimadukunnu. The aim of the institute is to take care of the elderly who are in the later stages of their life and have no one to look after them. Almost ninety percent of the inmates are not married while the remaining are. Due to modern evolution of societies and advent of the concept of nuclear families, the old find no place to go at an age when they cannot properly take care of themselves. This institute caters to this problem and provides the old help, support and love they need.
